Other than aerial dance, I also love using my aerial hammocks to advance in my flexibility training, and also to do relaxing stretches. If you are an aerial yoga fan, here you can find 7 beginner aerial yoga routines for different goals.

3 Full Body Routines for Beginners


I enjoy using the 10 minutes dynamic stretches and 10 minutes Full Body Morning Stretch as my pre-aerial warm up at times. When I have extra time, I like to give a self-care to stretch out my body with the 20 minutes stretches with the aerial hammock. These routines include stretches all the way from head to legs, with dynamic exercises to give you a light active workout and stretches at the same time.

You can begin with the easier and more relaxing 10 minutes Leg routine, before advancing to the 20 minutes Leg routine the next day.

Aerial Yoga for Beginner Shoulders and Back Flexibility

I started working on my back flexibility without paying too much attention to my shoulders. Even though my progress was great at the beginning, the weakness in my shoulders slowly became the blocker of my progression.
