I discovered…
- Quality over quantity.
- Always work on the form and connect the breathing
- Think long and extended
- Routines no longer than 30 mins, 3 – 4 times a week
- Begin with overall flexibility helped developing flexibility in specific areas faster.
DON’T Do Intense Stretches Every Day
You may hear people say:” I stretch every day.”
While it is great to keep staying active and mobile by doing light stretches daily, stretching intensively is different than gently relaxing stretches. You only have one body in your life, so let’s treat it with great care and do not ignore the importance of rest.

How Can You Achieve Flexibility?
The short answer is frequent practice over time.
I believe a good start for absolute beginners is to try dynamic stretching and static stretching 3-4 times a week in 10-minute sessions, then evaluate and potentially increase the frequency and duration.
How to Start?
Let’s start by building the habit. The 28 days Morning Stretch challenge is made for that. We will start off with no equipment beginner stretches to kick start the week, then we will gradually increase the intensity by adding tools like blocks, bands, and aerial hammock.
