I have a crazy maine coon cat and he loves destroying soft plastic, especially yoga blocks and low quality yoga mat. Since I train daily, I prefer to have my mat out.
Recently I just moved and found this mat that he loves laying on instead of destroying. You are gonna want to give this a try if you are also a cat parent and train at home.
The old mat is just a standard yoga mat, those that peel off the ground easily and move a lot when you apply some pressure. I decided to invest just a little more to try this mat.
You can choose any mat on amazon based on your liking, just pick one that says TPE. it’s light, it grips well, and he doesn’t want to put his claws or teeth on it. Give it a try and let me know how you and your cats love it!
