2. Standing on Aerial Hammock

Just like basic sitting, focusing on the transitions prior to arriving to a standing position can easily level up your aesthetic. Watch this video Aerial Hammock Basic II for more.

3. Straddle on Hammock

Straddle is the most basic and common trick. Focus on clean transitions in and out, and keep the toes pointed and legs straight to show your beautiful lines

4. Back Flip

Practicing back flip helped my body to understand the feeling of flipping with the hammock. It’s a great trick to prepare you for the next level.

5. Hip Lock

Hip lock is one of the best tricks to advance in aerial hammock. It is relatively safe and helps you to learn how to work with and trust your hammock. You may not get it in your very first try, but there are drills in this video to help you to build up the strength you need.

6. Foot Lock on Aerial Hammock

Foot lock is slightly less stable than hip lock, but because of its versatility, there are many options for you to practice. It is worth learning and building up your skills with, as it is a fun and beautiful trick.

7. Cross back Straddle on Aerial Hammock

Cross back straddle is great to start learning more challenging and impressive tricks. I recommend practicing my aerial core routine to build the core strength you’ll need for this.
